tate liverpool goes green...

... Is that true? I convinced myself today and went to Tate Liverpool!
... And YES it is true.

Tate Liverpool is using intelligent technology to save energy and is also part of an art recycling network. That means that even material from old exhibitions get recycled.  The Energy Institute has awarded Tate Liverpool accreditation for its achievements in energy efficiency.

Apart from the environmentally- friendly impact, Tate Liverpool also offered me an impressive insight into the world of art.

DOOR by Michelangelo Pistoletto
"Everyone having a sign of their own has the key to the door of art,
a door that leads to a reserved intimate, personal space, as well as to the space of social meeting."
Tower II by Richard Artschwager
Artschwager has made 3 towers and all are imaginary devices for communication.
The partial view offers protection and intimacy.
Walking up the steps and communicating with the eyes, ears or mouth of the person on the other side.

MAKE ART... NOT WAR!
